1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, installing the Axiom Chrome Extension, or using the Axiom service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company or entity, you represent that you have legal authority to bind that entity.
2. Service Description
Axiom provides AI-powered meeting transcription, speaker diarization, and summary extraction.
The service operates ephemerally without meeting bots joining your calls.
Axiom reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue features to maintain security, performance, or legal compliance.
3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from meeting participants before recording or transcribing audio in accordance with applicable federal, state, and international wiretapping laws.
You agree not to use Axiom for any illegal purpose, including unauthorized surveillance or copyright infringement.
You must safeguard your account authentication credentials and report any unauthorized access immediately.
4. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds
Subscriptions (Free, Pro, Growth, Business) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
Usage limits (transcription hours/seconds) reset at the start of each billing cycle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Billing. Access remains active through the end of your prepaid period.
5. Intellectual Property & Ownership
User Content Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of all audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, and meeting data uploaded or processed through Axiom.
Axiom Ownership: Axiom and its licensors retain all rights, titles, and interests in the Axiom platform, software, branding, and proprietary algorithms.
Zero Retention Warranty: Raw media files uploaded to Axiom are permanently deleted within 24 hours of transcript generation.
6. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Axiom shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from lost data or service interruptions.
Our maximum aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the amount paid by you to Axiom in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. Axiom may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
Upon account deletion, your transcripts and account records will be permanently purged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Governing Law & Contact Information
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws without regard to conflict of law principles.
